Job description

Screen Print Operator-
Looking for a talented Screen Print operator with an eye for detail for screen printing process. As an operator you are familiar with branding and imaging, be able to stand for long hours, be comfortable with using a computer, and have excellent attention to detail. Ultimately, a top-level Fabric Screen Printer can create beautifully designed articles of clothing that fully meet the customer's specifications.
Responsibilities:
  1. Receiving work order jobs for screen printing
  2. Examining work orders to determine estimated printing times, ink, and material quantities.
  3. Clean screens and help flash/create them
  4. Determines from order type and color of designs to print.
  5. Examines product for paint smears, the position of design, or other defects and adjusts equipment.
  6. Running prints and performing quality checks throughout the printing process.
  7. Troubleshooting problems as they arise.
  8. Counts and records quantities printed in the production log.
Requirements:
  1. High school diploma.
  2. Previous work experience as a shirt press operator using M& R Sportsman, Gauntlet, Cobra, Stryker, Brother, Challenger, or similar silk screen press machines.
  3. Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  4. High level of creative and artistic skills.
  5. Ability to stand for long periods.
  6. Ability to work with ink and chemicals every day.
  7. Ability to manually operate large machinery.
  8. Work from Sunday- Thursday first or second shift
