The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for the daily HR activities within their area of responsibility by supporting, assisting and administrating company's policies and procedures. In addition to their support responsibilities, individual may be assigned to various human resources initiatives and project teams. Work independently under general direction of the Area HR Manager, providing administrative support including records management, payroll, personnel records, etc. Provide advanced administrative support for senior management as well as courteous, responsive and accurate information to associates. Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries and/or requests by providing assistance when appropriate Redirect HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.) Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, conduct phone screenings, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts etc. Assist supervisors in performance management procedures Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback Prepare a variety of highly confidential, specialized, and recurrent reports such as personnel data Perform broad range of administrative details of highly confidential nature on a regular basis Maintain filing system including items that are confidential. Establish, maintain, and when necessary, revise supervisor/manager's files Maintain manager's calendar, scheduling meetings and appointments. Regularly arrange travel and hotel accommodations for frequent extended trips.
