What We're Looking For:

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA). As a CNA/HHA, you will be responsible for delivering essential personal care services tailored to meet the unique needs of our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient laundry when necessary

  • Provide medication reminders

  • Ensure patient safety

  • Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor

  • Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required

  • Monitor and record patient temperature

  • Assist patients with ambulation

  • Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols

  • Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines

  • Offer bathing assistance

  • Perform light housekeeping

  • Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance

  • Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided

  • Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws (training provided)

  • Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
