Compliance Specialist – Housing Programs

Do you have a knack for spotting details others miss? We're looking for a Compliance Specialist to help ensure applications, certifications, and resident files meet affordable housing requirements while supporting our onsite teams throughout the process.

What You'll Do
  • Review applications, certifications, and supporting documentation for compliance
  • Obtain and track third-party verifications
  • Communicate with applicants regarding missing information
  • Assist site staff with compliance questions and file corrections
  • Support audits, reporting, and compliance initiatives
  • Provide operational support during staffing shortages when needed
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in affordable housing compliance, property management, leasing, or related administrative work
  • Knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, HOME, Section 8, or other affordable housing programs preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to travel as needed
