WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE

The SIRS Maintenance Support Specialist is responsible for coordinating daily parts ordering, receiving, and inventory, and for maintaining and organizing spare parts cages for SIRS maintenance departments. In addition, this role accurately supports daily maintenance functions by utilizing software programs and provides a high level of customer service to all customers, both external and internal.

HOW YOU WILL DO IT

  • Coordinate daily parts ordering, receiving and inventory.
  • Maintain and organize spare parts cages for the Industrial Recycling maintenance departments.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to all customers, both external and internal.
  • Enter data daily using maintenance support software programs.
  • Perform physical parts inventories.
  • Work with accounts payable to ensure parts and invoices are properly received and processed in a timely manner.
  • Routinely lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Assist in tracking KPI goals and offer ongoing recommendations for improvements.
  • Assist with parts pick up and/or deliveries locally.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Respond to employee and customer complaints with respect and consideration.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Routinely work independently and adapt to frequent delays and unexpected events.
  • Prioritize tasks to ensure deadlines, daily tasks, and projects are completed on time.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Basic requirements:

  • High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two years of related experience with solid work history.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Two years minimum of parts ordering, inventory management, or related experience and/or training.
  • Basic computer knowledge and data entry; Microsoft 365 preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of CMMS and/or maintenance repair software.
  • Knowledge of internet, spreadsheet, and word processing software and other maintenance-related software.

Physical requirements:

  • Requires sitting, standing, and walking for the duration of the shift.
  • Routinely performs repetitive movements such as bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, and pulling.
  • Occasionally performs movements such as kneeling, climbing, or crouching.
  • Routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Routinely exposed to moving and mechanical parts.
  • Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold and heat, and outside weather.
  • Occasionally push/pull 400-2000 pounds using a pallet jack.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers in repetitive movements.
  • Requires specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US

  • Pay: $22/hour+ depending on experience; overtime as required
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; overtime as required
  • Weekly pay
  • 16+ days of PTO in your first year
