Job Title:Substitute School Crossing Guard
Reports to: School Crossing Guard Coordinator
Under general supervision of the school crossing guard coordinator, a school crossing guard or substitute school crossing guard is responsible for helping students safely cross roadways as they travel to and from school. This is a part time/seasonal position.
Requirements
• No formal education or experience requirements
• Must be able to speak and understand English
• Must be able to communicate effectively and give instructions to others
• Good physical health
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Has use of both hands and arms
• Good vision and hearing
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Must be available to work any day school is in session
• Subject to police background check
• Must be 18 years or older
