About the Role

As a Scheduling Care Coordinator, you play a critical role in ensuring clients receive consistent, high-quality care while supporting caregivers in the field. You will work closely with clients, families, caregivers, and office leadership to coordinate schedules, manage care plans, support new client starts, and help maintain a positive team culture.

This role requires previous experience scheduling over 1,500 hours of care per week and the ability to confidently manage a high-volume scheduling environment.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage caregiver schedules to ensure seamless coverage and continuity of care

Manage incoming shift requests, schedule changes, caregiver call-offs, and urgent staffing needs quickly and effectively

Use home care software to efficiently assign shifts based on caregiver availability, client preferences, and care needs

Develop and maintain client care plans and schedules

Support caregivers through mentorship, communication, and problem solving

Coordinate new client assessments, onboarding paperwork, care plan development, and client starts

Introduce and support caregivers during new client transitions

Maintain ongoing communication with clients and families to ensure satisfaction and quality care

Partner with leadership to anticipate staffing needs and support company growth

Assist with caregiver recruitment, interviews, onboarding, and orientation as needed

Maintain accurate documentation and client records
