Job Title: Legal Assistant Location: Portland, Oregon Schedule: Hybrid (3 Days Onsite/2 Days Remote Following Training) | 37.5-Hour Work Week Salary: $55,000-$75,000 Employment Type: Direct Hire Job Description: LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected Portland law firm to identify a Legal Assistant for its creditors' rights practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in bankruptcy, foreclosure, collections, or litigation who is looking to join a stable and collaborative team offering strong benefits, long-term growth potential, and a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable supporting attorneys in a fast-paced legal setting. This role offers exposure to a variety of matters involving creditors' rights, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and related litigation. Responsibilities:
  • Draft, prepare, and file legal documents in state and federal courts
  • Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, and case-related correspondence
  • Coordinate e-filings in Oregon, Washington, appellate, and federal courts
  • Maintain case files and organize litigation-related documentation
  • Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties regarding case status and scheduling
  • Assist with document review, case management, and litigation support activities
  • Schedule meetings, hearings, and other case-related events
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys throughout the lifecycle of a matter
Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in bankruptcy, foreclosure, creditors' rights, collections, or a related legal practice area
