Scheduling Coordinator to join our team! This role provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks that support the effective and efficient operation of the clinic.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing clear explanations of clinic processes, scheduling expectations, and general insurance information; escalate complex benefit or care plan questions as needed.
- Coordinate daily scheduling operations with a focus on maximizing provider schedule fullness and maintaining efficient patient flow.
- Minimize cancellations and open slots by monitoring schedules in advance, managing waitlists, and reaching out to inactive or pending patients.
- Monitor and process incoming referrals, completes new patient registrations, and conduct scheduling outreach.
- Ensure insurance verification (VOB) is completed by the registration team, request authorizations through the authorization team, track status, and communicate requirements to patients and care teams.
- Collect co-payments and time-of-service payments while ensuring compliance with billing and authorization procedures.
- Maintain accurate records, visit limits, and documentation within the EHR to prevent interruptions in care.
- Complete daily reconciliations and weekly deposits accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with clinical and front office teams to optimize scheduling, enhance communication, ank support shared operational goals.
- Support team members with EHR use and scheduling best practices; share feedback and suggestions to improve workflows.
- Demonstrate ownership and adaptability in managing scheduling priorities, supporting efficiency, and contributing to clinic success.
- Occasional driving for business needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you will need to bring to the table- 2+ years of customer service experience
- 2+ years of medical office experience strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Basic proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
