PROJECT MANAGER: Scheduling
In this position, you will lead and oversee scheduling strategy across multiple construction projects while managing and mentoring a team of schedulers. This role combines strong construction project management experience with advanced scheduling expertise, particularly in Primavera P6, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Lead and manage a team of schedulers supporting multiple concurrent construction projects.
  • Develop, maintain, and oversee detailed project schedules and integrated master schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Establish scheduling standards, templates, and best practices across the organization.
  • Ensure project schedules are resource-loaded and cost-loaded where applicable.
  • Maintain schedule baselines and track performance against approved project plans.
  • Monitor schedule performance, identify risks or delays, and develop recovery strategies.
  • Develop and maintain schedule reporting, dashboards, and performance analysis for project teams and leadership.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project performance metrics and forecasting tools, including schedule and cost indicators.
  • Support project teams with schedule forecasting and progress analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) principles or similar performance tracking methods where applicable.
  • Ensure project performance data remains accurate, complete, and actionable.
  • Develop reports and analysis that support informed decisions related to sequencing, resources, and schedule recovery.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Estimating during preconstruction and project execution.
  • Assist in developing proposal schedules, baseline schedules, and construction sequencing plans during the bidding process.
  • Evaluate schedule impacts and develop mitigation or recovery plans when necessary.
  • Support project teams with short-term scheduling strategies, phasing plans, and schedule updates.
  • Participate in owner/architect meetings and provide schedule updates when required.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between project schedules, budgets, and field execution.
  • Evaluate scheduling processes, reports, and tools to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the development of standardized scheduling methodologies and reporting frameworks across projects.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in project management and project controls processes.
  • Mentor and develop scheduling staff through training, coaching, and professional development.
  • Serve as the internal expert on scheduling processes and scheduling software platforms.
  • Work closely with project teams to improve planning, sequencing, and execution.
  • Facilitate regular scheduling meetings to review project progress and performance.

  • Have a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Bring 7+ years of construction scheduling and/or project management experience.
  • Have advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.

  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to identify schedule risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Have experience mentoring or managing scheduling or project controls staff.
