Job description

Frontier Cooperative is seeking a Scale Operator to assist our Ceresco, NE grain elevator during Harvest. As a Seasonal Scale Operator, you will be responsible for a variety of different duties that include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Weigh & grade grain for inbound & outbound trucks.
  • Work with customers to verify scale tickets & print reports.
  • Answer telephone promptly & direct calls, as needed.
  • Provide a high level of customer service by addressing patrons in a prompt, efficient & courteous manner.
  • Work with other office personnel on special projects.
  • Perform other duties or activities as needed or directed by supervisor.
  • General office & clerical duties, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications (required)
  • Ability to work extended hours to meet business demands during harvest.
  • Basic Computer Skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, take initiative & problem-solve when necessary & provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. on occasion or when needed.
