About the Role:

The Grain Operator is responsible for monitoring grain quality and inventory levels, as well as operating machinery and equipment used in the grain processing and storage facilities. The Grain Operator will collaborate with team members to maintain safety standards and optimize operational processes. Additionally, this role involves troubleshooting equipment issues and performing routine maintenance to ensure smooth operations. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in grain handling or a related field is a plus.
  • Must have a current driver's license.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor grain handling equipment and storage bins.
  • Conduct regular inspections of grain quality and inventory levels to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate grain receiving, sampling, handling, drying and storage.
  • Maintain accurate records of grain inventory and operational activities.
