SBS CyberSercurity is growing rapidly and we need a driven, entrepreneurial leader to expand our industry leading solutions into the CMMC market. As our next CMMC Services Sales Executive, you will support organizations to achieve and maintain CMMC compliance. You will guide prospective clients through compliance needs and position SBS's CMMC readiness and cybersecurity services as trusted solutions.
You are a motivated self-starter with a deep network within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and a proven track record in business development and a passion for helping organizations improve their cybersecurity posture.

What You'll Do
โ€ข Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on CMMC compliance and cybersecurity services.
โ€ข Identify, prospect, and close new business within the DIB.
โ€ข Serve as a trusted advisor on CMMC requirements, assessment readiness, and DoD security expectations.
โ€ข Lead discovery conversations, build solution proposals, and manage the full sales cycle from first contact to contract.
โ€ข Collaborate closely with internal cybersecurity, compliance, and project delivery teams to ensure seamless customer transitions.
โ€ข Maintain accurate pipeline updates and forecasting in CRM systems.
โ€ข Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
โ€ข Stay current on CMMC regulations, DFARS requirements, and DoD cybersecurity initiatives
What You Bring
โ€ข 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in cybersecurity, technology, or managed services.
โ€ข 5+ years of business development within the DIB and/or an expansive network of defense contractors
โ€ข Demonstrated ability to win new business and drive revenue growth.
โ€ข Strong consultative sales skills and ability to understand customer needs and present relevant solutions.
โ€ข Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
โ€ข Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
โ€ข Understanding of CMMC, NIST 800-171, DFARS, or similar frameworks.
โ€ข Proficiency with CRM software (such as Dynamics, Hubspot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
โ€ข Proficiency with lead generation tools such as Zoominfo.
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Bonus points if you have:
โ€ข Deep understanding of the DoD ecosystem, military veteran or defense sector experience.
โ€ข Background in cybersecurity consulting or compliance services.
โ€ข Familiarity with RPOs, C3PAOs, certification bodies, and the CMMC ecosystem.

Supervisory Responsibility

Additional Details
This is a full-time position. This role would require occasional travel. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. On rare occasions, this position may require some after-work hours due to workload or tight deadline.

This position is for remote work, with little expected travel.
