Senior Project Manager – Waterproofing and Roofing Consultant Roofing (RRO/RRC)

CSG is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Project Manager to help safeguard commercial properties throughout the Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, and Mid‑Atlantic region. This position is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in roofing and waterproofing consulting, building envelope systems, roofing design, and construction consulting. In this role, you will play a critical part in diagnosing complex moisture intrusion issues, evaluating facade integrity, and designing durable, climate‑responsive exterior solutions for a wide range of commercial properties. You will lead projects from investigation through construction, serving as a trusted advisor to property owners, contractors, and design professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for an investigative and solutions‑driven professional who thrives on creative problem‑solving and wants to work with some of the region’s leading real estate owners and property management teams. This role is ideal for experienced engineers with 5‑10 years of experience. Core Expertise Areas: Building Envelope Consulting, Roofing Systems (EPDM, TPO, PVC, SBS/APP, etc.), Waterproofing Systems, Façade Inspection & Repair, Construction Observation & Quality Assurance. Responsibilities
  • Perform facade and roofing investigations, field assessments, and testing to evaluate existing conditions and system performance.
  • Develop repair and replacement designs, cost estimates, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Manage construction administration, quality control, submittals, RFIs, progress meetings, and field observations throughout project execution.
  • Lead multiple building envelope and roofing projects from start to completion, ensuring quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary client contact and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout all phases of the project.
Qualifications
  • 5‑10 years of experience in building envelope consulting, roofing and façade systems and waterproofing design.
  • Ability to perform fieldwork at heights (swing stage, scaffold, lifts, ladders, etc.).
  • Proficiency in technical writing, reporting, and documentation.
  • Strong communication and client‑facing skills.
  • Work performed in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC area, with occasional out of town.
  • Registered Roof Observer (RRO) or Registered Roof Consultant (RRC).
