Saw Operators for Production Area

Temp-to-Hire
Location: Houston, TX 77082
Shift: Day and Night Shift available

Pay: $17/ hr

  • Previous experience opening a cut-off saw to cut off pipe ends or rejected threads.
  • Select appropriate saw blades, adjust feed rates, and set position guides.
  • Safely load, cut, and handle raw materials (often using forklifts or hoists) based on cut lists and blueprints.
  • Operate swaging equipment as directed.
  • Perform routine tasks like cleaning, lubrication, and changing dull or broken blades.
  • Manually drifts pipe as required.
  • Perform shop cleanup as needed.
  • Perform abrasive blasting of threaded ends as required.
  • Assist machine operators with heavy tooling used when setting up machines.
  • This position is in a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility.
  • Must pass drug screen and background check
