We have an exciting opening for a Saw Operator in Eugene, OR; and will be supporting manufacturing activities and operate saw equipment. 

Your responsibilities 

  • Will support a variety of manufacturing activities including materials, shipping, receiving and operating light manufacturing equipment.
  • Set up and operate radial, band, abrasive and cold saws, adjusting speeds and feeds for a wide variety of materials.
  • Support storage of stock materials, identify and fills orders. Will operate overhead cranes and may require team member to obtain forklift operator's license.
  • Safety is top priority and responsible to work safely. 
  • Required to work from technical documents including blueprints, written specifications, charts, tables, etc.
  • Responsible to maintain high-quality work, efficiently and identify opportunities for continuous improvements.

Who we are looking for

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Prior manufacturing experience 6 months preferred
  • Physical demand requires frequent lifting, moving or turning average weight material and may be required to lift up to 25 pounds.

Ideally, you will also have

  • Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.  
  • Possess strong math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, including decimals and fractions.   
  • May also be required to effectively use personal computers, data management systems and software.
  • May require forklift operator license

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: 20.61/hr to 22.81/hr
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
