The work

As a S/4HANA Production Planning and Controlling Consultant, you will be responsible for configuring, designing, and testing integration between S/4HANA and Solumina for manufacturing execution. This includes setting up configuration for: factory calendars, bill of materials, routing, production versions, and MRP execution. You will be a SME with deep knowledge and experience demand planning and capacity planning.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead or support the implementation of SAP planning modules such as SAP IBP (Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP, and Response) or APO
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather and analyze requirements for demand, supply, and inventory planning processes
  • Configure SAP planning systems, develop data models, and design integration with S/4HANA and other ERP systems
  • Develop planning templates, key figures, and forecasting models aligned with business goals
  • Conduct workshops, user training sessions, and documentation for planning processes and system functionalities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues related to SAP planning modules
  • Support master data setup and integration with external systems (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA, non-SAP sources)
  • Participate in testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance) to ensure solution quality
  • Stay current on SAP innovations in the planning domain (IBP, S/4HANA embedded PP/DS, etc.) and recommend continuous improvement opportunities

Here's what you need:

  • 5+ years of experience with SAP planning solutions (IBP, APO, or S/4HANA Planning)
  • Strong functional knowledge of supply chain planning processes (demand forecasting, inventory optimization, capacity planning, S&OP)
  • Proficiency in configuration of planning operators, key figures, planning areas, and integration models

Nice to have:

  • Experience with SAP integration tools
  • Proficiency in S/4HANA Demand Planning
  • Proficiency in integration between S/4HANA and external systems
  • Experience with integrating with Solumina for manufacturing execution
  • SAP IBP certification (Demand, Supply, or S&OP)
  • Experience with SAP BW, BTP, or embedded analytics
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

Eligibility Requirements:

  • US Citizens only (no dual citizenship)
  • Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust government clearance
  • Ability to travel 25% to the client site

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
