Job description

What You'll Do
  • Perform receipt, handling, storage, retrieval, disposition and tracking of samples
  • Enter associated sample data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and ensure accuracy
  • Pull required samples for organization and shipping of samples and/or kitting materials
  • Work to maintain knowledge of compliance to ensure compliance with CAP requirements
  • Collect, file, and review supporting documentation including, but not limited to, maintenance records, SOPs, training records, deviations, etc.
  • Perform ongoing daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual equipment maintenance
  • Sample processing duties (aliquoting, relabeling, PBMC processing, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring
  • Detail oriented - able to accurately interpret and transcribe information from a client chain of custody into the LIMS
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi task and be flexible with tasks and schedules
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Associate degree, technical certification or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a laboratory environment
  • Experience working in a regulated, quality environment preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of GXP preferred but not required
  • Bachelors degree preferred but not required
  • Experience in PBMC processing preferred but not required
