Job description

Overview

JST is currently seeking a Mid-Level Salesforce Developer to join our team. The Salesforce Developer will build and enhance Salesforce capabilities in a structured, regulated environment and deliver sprint-based work end-to-end (design, build, test, deploy, support).

This is a full-time remote position located in the Washington, D.C area. JST offers a full benefit package, a collaborative work environment and strong company culture. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply.

Mid-Level Salesforce Developer Responsibilities

  • Develop with Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC); automate with Flow.
  • Configure Salesforce (objects, fields, validation, security/sharing, permissions).
  • Support integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware) and data movement as needed.
  • Perform unit testing, code reviews, defect fixes, and release support across environments.
  • Produce lightweight technical documentation aligned to government delivery needs.

Mid-Level Salesforce Developer Qualifications

  • 3–6 years Salesforce development experience (mid-level).
  • Strong in Apex + LWC and Salesforce data model/platform limits.
  • Working knowledge of Git and Agile delivery.

Desired Qualifications

  • Databricks experience to support integration/data pipelines.
  • Federal/government experience; Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I (PD1), Administrator).
  • Experience with Service Cloud / Experience Cloud / Sales Cloud.

Required Clearances and Screenings

  • MUST have an active secret clearance
  • MUST be able to pass a US Government Security Clearance
