Position Summary

We are seeking a highly technical Senior Salesforce Developer with deep platform expertise and hands-on experience implementing AI-driven solutions within Salesforce. This role requires strong architectural knowledge, advanced Apex development skills, integration expertise, and experience leveraging Salesforce AI capabilities including predictive, generative, and automation feature. The Senior Salesforce Developer will work closely with architects and product owners to understand business requirements and develop scalable solutions that meet those requirements. This role will be reporting to the Director, Salesforce and Integrations. 

Located at our office in Naperville, our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience, so a regular in-office hybrid model (T-TH in office and M & F remote) is required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop enterprise-grade solutions on the Salesforce platform.
  • Build advanced solutions using:
  • Apex (Batch, Queueable, Future, Schedulable)
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Visualforce (where applicable)
  • Design complex data models, role hierarchies, sharing rules, and security architecture.
  • Develop dynamic UI solutions using LWC with advanced JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Design and implement AI-driven solutions using:
  • Salesforce Einstein (Prediction Builder, Discovery, Next Best Action)
  • Einstein GPT
  • Salesforce Data Cloud
  • Integrate external AI/ML services (OpenAI, AWS SageMaker, Azure ML) via REST APIs.
  • Build prompt-driven workflows using generative AI within Salesforce Flows.
  • Develop AI-powered automation for lead scoring, case classification, forecasting, and recommendations.
  • Implement real-time AI inference via Platform Events and asynchronous processing.
  • Work with structured and unstructured datasets for AI model training and insights.
  • Apply Responsible AI principles, data governance, and compliance standards.
  • Design Sales/Service Cloud solutions by working closely with application owners, business analysts, solution architects and product owners to build technology solutions to meet business needs.
  • Build custom solutions connecting Salesforce (Sales/Service Cloud) with Dispatch's field service platform or salesforce field service platform using Dispatch.me.
  • Support, maintain and improve the working of existing Sales/Service cloud applications for optimal functionality.
  • Build prompt-driven workflows using generative AI within Salesforce Flows.
  • Develop AI-powered automation for lead scoring, case classification, forecasting, and recommendations.
  • Implement real-time AI inference via Platform Events and asynchronous processing.
  • Work with structured and unstructured datasets for AI model training and insights.
  • Apply Responsible AI principles, data governance, and compliance standards.
  • Write high-coverage, bulkified unit tests and enforce code quality standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing of Salesforce Sales & Service cloud solutions to ensure proper functionality, usability, and adherence to best practices and industry standards. 
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Copado.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce secure coding best practices.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in contact center technologies, related tools to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Experience and Qualifications of the Role:

  • 5+ years of IT experience, including dedicated Salesforce development across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud platforms with strong Salesforce development and solution design skills.
  • Apex classes, Controllers and Triggers
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Visualforce
  • SOQL & SOSL
  • Experiencing configuring and customizing Workflows, Process Builder, Flow Validation rules and approval processes.
  • Extensive experience with customization on the Salesforce Lightning platform using declarative platform tools and platform events.
  • Integration: Experience with API-based integrations, middleware, or custom connectors. 
  • Experience Working with Salesforce data model, security model, and sharing rules.
  • Experience building custom dashboards and reports.
  • 3+ years’ Designing and implementing AI-driven solutions using:
  • Salesforce Einstein (Prediction Builder, Discovery, Next Best Action)
  • Einstein GPT
  • Salesforce Data Cloud
  • Ability to support multiple concurrent projects, both simple and extremely complex; prioritize activities and provide deliverables as planned. 
  • Experience with Dispatch.me, invoicing, or field services is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience.

We offer a compelling total rewards package that includes a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits to support your total wellbeing.  The base pay range for this position is $116,365 - $157,500 USD Annual. The specific pay offered will depend on qualifications, experience, education and skill set. The compensation offered may also include an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive plan or commission target.
