Job description

We are looking for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join an advertising company in San Antonio, Texas on a Long-term Contract basis. This role supports billing and account operations by handling large volumes of back-billing information, reviewing records for accuracy, and updating data across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is comfortable with repetitive, deadline-driven work and takes pride in maintaining precise, organized records. This opportunity is well suited for someone who can work independently while partnering effectively with billing, finance, and operations teams.
Responsibilities:
• Enter and maintain high-volume billing, account, and customer information across Salesforce and other internal platforms with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Examine invoices, account details, and supporting records before processing to ensure information is complete and ready for entry.
• Investigate mismatched or incomplete billing data and make corrections related to contracts, invoices, and customer records.
• Use Google Sheets and Excel to monitor transaction activity, organize billing updates, and support reporting needs.
• Process aged and outstanding billing items according to established procedures to help recover revenue and clear backlogs.
• Conduct routine quality reviews to confirm data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards.
• Keep clear documentation of completed entries, account updates, and resolved billing issues for audit readiness.
• Work closely with billing, finance, and operations partners to address data concerns and maintain smooth workflow execution.
• Meet daily and weekly productivity expectations while sustaining a high level of precision in a repetitive environment.
• Contribute to data cleanup efforts, audits, and other special projects tied to billing operations and account maintenance.• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in data entry, billing support, accounts receivable, administrative operations, or a related area.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or similar data and reporting tools.
• Strong keyboarding and numeric data entry skills with a consistent record of accuracy.
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently while following defined processes and deadlines.
• Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload independently.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with billing, invoicing, or revenue-related workflows is strongly preferred.
