Job description

About Versapay:

Versapay’s purpose is to remove financial friction so business ecosystems can transact smarter, faster, and with greater resiliency. We build cloud‑based accounts receivable solutions that help finance teams accelerate cash flow, improve visibility, and operate with confidence.

We are a remote‑first organization across the U.S. and Canada. Our teams operate with a high degree of trust and autonomy, and we succeed because our people take ownership of their impact, communicate clearly, and follow through on commitments.

Our Values :

At Versapay, how we work matters as much as what we deliver. Our values guide our daily behaviors:

  • Own Your Impact – Accountability is not negotiable. We take responsibility for outcomes, not just effort.
  • Show Grit – We persevere through ambiguity and challenge with resilience and determination.
  • Unite to Win – We create value with and for others, working respectfully toward shared goals.
  • Act with Courage and Candor – We give and receive feedback openly, knowing it makes us better.
  • Energize and Build Joy – We seek understanding, celebrate wins, and take care of ourselves and each other.
About Our Salesforce Platform

Salesforce is a mission-critical enterprise platform within our organization. We manage it with a strong emphasis on architectural discipline, governance, and long-term sustainability. We are hiring a Salesforce Administrator who will work closely with our existing development team and business stakeholders to ensure the platform remains scalable, secure, and reliable as we evolve. This is a high‑ownership position within a mature, integration‑aware environment.

The Role — Salesforce Administrator (Platform & Integrations)

The Salesforce Administrator serves as a primary steward of the platform’s declarative architecture. This role owns configuration standards, safeguards data integrity, and ensures solutions are scalable and well‑governed. You will operate with independence and partner closely with developers and business stakeholders to deliver sustainable, enterprise‑grade solutions.

Key Focus Areas
  • Design and maintain scalable declarative solutions (Flows, security model, data structure, reporting)
  • Enforce standards for automation design, configuration governance, and sustainable platform practices
  • Ensure alignment between data model, permissions, and integration touchpoints
  • Monitor platform reliability and proactively address issues
  • Support structured release, documentation, and validation practices
  • Translate business requirements into supportable platform designs
Who Thrives in This Role
  • You know Salesforce admin best practices cold. You have a strong internal sense of what “good” looks like on the platform, and you hold the line on it. This is a declarative, administration‑focused role for someone who wants to master admin craft and governance — not a stepping stone into a developer position.
  • You’re a self‑starter who turns a story into action. Hand you a requirement and you run with it: you identify the right stakeholders, ask the questions that need asking, and drive it forward independently rather than waiting to be told each step.
  • You make solid, well‑reasoned recommendations. You’re not afraid to ask questions — or to put a clear recommendation on the table and back it up.
  • You communicate clearly across dev and business. You can talk architecture with developers and outcomes with business stakeholders, tailoring the message to the audience. This is critical to the role.
  • You’re a calm, trusted partner under pressure. You handle competing priorities, tight timelines, and candid feedback with composure and empathy — keeping stakeholders confident in the platform and focused on solutions.
  • This is your primary professional focus. A permanent, full‑time, in‑house role — not a contract or consulting engagement — for someone who wants to go deep on a single Salesforce org rather than split attention across clients.
  • You build with AI. We actively encourage AI‑assisted work. Wherever you are on that journey — early experimenter or daily user — we value curiosity, a willingness to fold AI into your workflow, and the judgment to validate its output.
Required Experience
  • 5+ years hands‑on Salesforce Administrator experience
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce administration best practices and declarative / security‑model design
  • Experience supporting Salesforce integrations (custom and/or managed packages)
  • Strong systems thinking and independent, self‑directed execution
  • Excellent, plain‑language written and verbal communication with both technical and business audiences
Preferred
  • Salesforce Administrator certification(s)
  • Experience supporting Revenue Cloud / CPQ or Service Cloud
  • Experience working within structured governance and release models
  • Comfort using AI tools in day‑to‑day platform work

$90,000 - $100,000 a year
