For us, it’s not just about playgrounds—it’s about building trust and great relationships along the way.

Job Summary

The Sales Support Manager leads a team that uses organizational skills to build trust with clients. They play a pivotal role in providing administrative support to Sales Representatives and offering professional customer service.

  • Partner with sales representatives and leadership to prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations that align with client goals and budgets.
  • Communicate with vendors, sales representatives, creating spreadsheets, managing and distributing information for special projects.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors for pricing, specifications, and product recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the CRM/ERP system to track opportunities and project status.
  • Follow up with clients to keep projects moving forward and ensure a professional, organized experience.

  • Work with internal and external teams to ensure timelines and expectations are met.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact the client.
  • Manage communication between sales, construction, and leadership to keep everyone aligned.
  • Represent Midstates Recreation with professionalism and care throughout the project lifecycle.

Ideal Candidate

  • Resourceful Problem Solver: Naturally finds solutions under pressure and doesn’t get stuck waiting for direction.
  • Exceptionally Organized: Keeps multiple priorities, people, and projects moving without letting things slip.
  • Operationally Savvy: Understands how processes, people, and systems fit together — and knows how to fix what’s broken.
  • Sales-Minded: Sees opportunities, understands customer value, and supports reps in closing deals efficiently.
  • A relationship builder who communicates clearly and confidently with customers, vendors, and teammates.
  • Detail-oriented and organized — someone who naturally keeps projects and people on track.
  • Familiar with sales support, project coordination, or account management (experience in construction, design, or recreation a plus).
  • Proficient with CRM/ERP systems and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Why Join Midstates Recreation

  • Be part of a collaborative team that values quality, integrity, and doing what’s right.

  • Opportunities for professional growth within a growing, family-owned organization.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales, project coordination, or related roles.
  • Background in construction, recreation, or outdoor projects is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary plus performance incentives.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) with company contribution.
  • Paid time off and holidays.
  • A chance to work on meaningful community projects in a collaborative team environment.
