Job description

The Third Estimate has served our Northeast Ohio community for over 30 years (since 1996). We are a family-owned and locally operated business. Our company strives to provide superior customer service, integrity, and trust. We take pride in our top-notch craftsmanship, offering only the best high-quality products in the exterior home improvement market for roofing, windows, siding, and gutter systems.

We are seeking an inbound/outbound Sales Support Specialist to join our team for our second shift (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM). This position requires reporting Monday through Friday to our Fairview Park showroom.

In this role, you will be the crucial first point of contact, responsible for building customer relationships, identifying homeowner needs, and booking appointments both over the phone and face-to-face with customers visiting our showroom.

Core Responsibilities

  • Showroom & Phone Management: Report daily (M-F, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM) to our Fairview Park location to manage high-volume calls and greet walk-in showroom visitors.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified, high-intent appointments for our Sales team through phone outreach and in-person showroom interactions.
  • Consultative Sales Support: Identify homeowner needs through confident, consultative conversations and educate customers on our roofing, siding, windows, and exterior solutions.
  • Lead Management: Follow up on existing leads and actively re-engage warm leads and past customers.
  • Data & Tracking: Maintain highly detailed CRM documentation for all customer interactions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Sales & Operations to ensure seamless handoffs and provide all necessary information to both the customer and staff.
  • Performance Metrics: Consistently hit and exceed daily and monthly performance KPIs.

Basic Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills (both over the phone and face-to-face).
  • High School Diploma (OR) GED Equivalent.
  • 1 year of previous customer service experience.
  • Must be dependable, maintain regular attendance, and be punctual.
  • Data Entry Experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the home improvement industry.
  • Previous sales experience and/or outbound call experience.
  • Strong multitasking, time management, and target-achieving skills.
  • Strong management and organizational skills.
  • Negotiation abilities.
  • Good knowledge of CRM practices and systems.
