Job description

If you are an experienced roofing professional who understands Florida permitting, communicates fluently in English and Spanish, and takes ownership of your projects, we want to hear from you.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Proven roofing industry experience.
• 2–3 years of roofing project coordination, project administration, or similar roofing project management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Florida Building Code and roofing requirements.
• Experience with permitting departments and local jurisdictions in Broward, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, Tampa-area, and surrounding Florida municipalities.
• Ability to independently prepare, submit, track, and follow up on permits, corrections, inspections, approvals, and HOA applications.
• Experience with project management software, QuickBooks, and Excel.
• Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, multitasking, attention to detail, and documentation skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, accountable, and team-oriented.
• Willing to build a long-term career with the company.
• Solar industry experience is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate roofing projects from contract through completion.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Field Managers to manage permits, inspections, scheduling, materials, crews, and project follow-up.
• When a Project Manager is unavailable, you must have the confidence to take responsibility, make informed decisions within your authority, and keep projects moving.
• Secure HOA approvals and handle other project requirements.
• Track project progress, deadlines, expenses, payments, payouts, and supporting documents.
• Identify and resolve scheduling, permitting, documentation, and customer issues.
• Communicate with homeowners, suppliers, field staff, sales representatives, and project contacts.
• Ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Provide complete project documentation to the Project Auditor.
• Keep project systems, physical files, and digital records complete, accurate, and current.
• Follow through independently without constant reminders or supervision.

• $50,000–$65,000/year (based on experience)
