Client: Confidential Media & Advertising Organization Title: Sales Planner Salary: $65,000–$70,000 Base Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – currently onsite Tuesdays & Wednesdays) Description A well-established and rapidly evolving media organization is seeking a Sales Planner to join its collaborative and high-performing Sales Planning team. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting advertising sales teams within media, broadcast, digital advertising, or television environments who enjoys managing multiple priorities, working cross-functionally, and serving as a key operational partner to internal stakeholders. This position supports the development and execution of media plans, proposals, campaign recommendations, and sales support initiatives across linear and digital advertising channels including CTV/OTT, digital video, display, audio, and related omnichannel campaigns.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in fast-paced environments where responsiveness, collaboration, and problem-solving are critical. Responsibilities Partner closely with Account Executives, Sales teams, Ad Operations, Traffic, and other internal groups to support campaign execution and planning initiatives Build, revise, and maintain media plans, proposals, pricing recommendations, and sales materials Process and manage sales orders, revisions, cancellations, makegoods, allocations, and campaign updates Support campaign pacing, delivery tracking, inventory alignment, and scheduling coordination Work with agencies and clients to ensure campaigns are executed accurately and efficiently Assist with proposal development and audience targeting recommendations across digital and omnichannel campaigns Coordinate cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies related to scheduling, billing, delivery, or campaign performance Monitor campaign performance and provide reporting support, optimization recommendations, and delivery updates Maintain accurate records and updates within Salesforce and other media planning/order management systems Support inventory forecasting, budget tracking, and proposal workflow management Assist with ongoing process improvements, operational efficiencies, and internal planning initiatives Qualifications 1–4+ years of experience in advertising sales support, media planning, ad operations, campaign management, media buying, sales coordination, or related media/advertising environments Experience within television, broadcast, digital media, OTT/CTV, cable, agency, or advertising organizations strongly preferred Familiarity with campaign execution workflows, order management, scheduling, trafficking, pacing, or proposal support Exposure to media planning and sales systems such as Salesforce, STRATA, Prisma, MediaOcean, Eclipse, GAM/DFP, FreeWheel, Operative, or similar tools is highly preferred Strong Excel, PowerPoint, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a deadline-driven environment Collaborative, service-oriented personality with strong attention to detail and follow-through Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required depending on experience Additional Details Hybrid schedule currently operating 2 days onsite per week Strong opportunity for long-term growth within a large and evolving media organization Excellent exposure to the intersection of media, advertising, digital strategy, and ad technology Team is looking for someone who is dependable, communicative, polished, and eager to grow within a collaborative environment Vaco by Highspring values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
