Staffline, one of the Mid-South’s leading industrial staffing firms is seeking a high-performing, customer-focused Director of Sales to join our dynamic executive leadership team. This is a pivotal role for a proven sales leader with a passion for driving revenue growth, building long-term client relationships, and leading strategic business development initiatives.


Position Overview:

The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading and executing the company’s sales strategy with a primary focus on new business development, client acquisition, and revenue generation. This role requires a dynamic, results-oriented professional with deep experience in industrial staffing or a related industry. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial leader who thrives on the autonomy to shape sales initiatives and is passionate about developing scalable sales processes that align with long-term organizational objectives.


You will be empowered to set short- and long-term sales goals, develop go-to-market strategies, and work collaboratively across departments to ensure successful client onboarding and ongoing satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Leadership:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with company growth targets, focusing on both new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
  • Business Development & Client Acquisition:
  • Proactively identify, engage, and close new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, prospecting, and consultative selling techniques.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all clients you bring on board. Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering tailored staffing solutions.
  • Sales Operations & Execution:
  • Prepare proposals, RFP responses, and contracts. Deliver formal sales presentations, negotiate service agreements, and coordinate with operations and recruiting to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Territory Management:
  • Manage a defined geographic sales territory, analyzing market dynamics, identifying growth opportunities, and tracking performance metrics.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with the Recruiting and Operations teams to align sales efforts with service delivery capabilities and ensure high-quality fulfillment of client needs.
  • Marketing & Lead Generation:
  • Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns, lead-generation strategies, and promotional materials. Attend industry events, networking functions, and conferences to generate visibility and leads.
  • Account Management:
  • Oversee ongoing account management activities for signed clients, including regular check-ins, issue resolution, performance reviews, and identification of up-sell/cross-sell opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience in the industrial staffing or human capital solutions industry.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets, closing new business, and expanding market share.
  • Strong existing network or client base within the industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or warehousing sectors preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable with cold calling, conducting in-person meetings, and formal client presentations.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills to assess client needs and recommend strategic solutions.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned sales territory as needed.
