Job description

We are looking for a driven Territory Sales Manager to expand business opportunities and strengthen client relationships in Fort Ann, New York. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys developing new accounts, managing a sales territory with independence, and delivering solutions that align with customer needs. The role offers the chance to contribute to growth through a mix of outreach, consultative selling, and long-term account development.


Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, and face-to-face meetings with prospective clients.

• Develop and maintain a healthy sales funnel by tracking leads, advancing opportunities, and prioritizing high-potential accounts within the assigned territory.

• Visit customer locations to assess service needs and recommend customized waste and recycling programs that support their business goals.

• Lead pricing discussions and contract conversations to secure new service agreements and expand market presence.

• Work closely with internal operations and support teams to deliver a smooth onboarding process and positive customer experience.

• Keep customer records, sales activities, and opportunity updates organized and current within Salesforce.

• Manage the territory with a high level of accountability by planning daily activity, scheduling follow-ups, and driving progress toward sales targets.

• Background in sales, business development, or another client-facing position, with business-to-business experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads through prospecting, cold outreach, and relationship-building efforts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence decision-making.
• Results-oriented approach with the initiative to work independently and take ownership of performance.
