Job Title: Personal Trainer Sales Manager – Full-Time

Reports To: Club Manager

Salary:
$18.00 - $24.00 / hour plus a monthly commission and bonus
SUMMARY:
At Blue Star Investments, LLC d/b/a Anytime Fitness, the Personal Training Sales Manager (PTSM) is a full-time sales leadership role focused on driving personal training revenue and new client conversion. This is not a service-heavy position — it’s a front-end sales role, centered on delivering consultations, converting prospects, and owning the top of the training funnel.
PTSMs are responsible for 30+ hours per week of lead generation, prospecting, and executing Fitness Consultations. They are limited to no more than 10 hours per week of hands-on service. Their primary mission: convert members into long-term training clients and build a thriving coaching business within their club. This role is ideal for certified trainers who love to sell, are hungry to build something, and are ready to lead from the front.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Own the front-end of the training business: Deliver high-volume Fitness Consultations, following the Blue Star Fitness Consultation Sales Process.
  • Drive personal training sales: Hit and exceed monthly sales targets tied to bi-weekly training agreements, nutrition programs, and paid-in-full packages.
  • Prospect relentlessly: Engage walk-ins, web leads, member referrals, and outbound contacts daily to fill your calendar with sales opportunities.
  • Manage the member journey: Oversee all training-related onboarding touchpoints to ensure members are placed in the right program for their goals.
  • Track performance: Log KPIs daily — consultations booked, shows, closes, conversion rate — and report results to the Club Manager.
  • Build community trust: Represent the training department with energy and professionalism inside the club, with partners, and on social media.
  • Lead with energy: Set the tone for training culture inside the gym and support the success of the coaching team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, etc.) required
  • 1+ year experience in fitness sales or high-performance PT environments strongly preferred
  • Proven closer — comfortable asking for the sale and overcoming objections
  • Strong communicator — confident in 1-on-1 conversations and presenting value
  • Natural leader — takes ownership, drives results, and sets a high standard
  • Highly organized — able to self-manage leads, follow-ups, and scheduling with minimal oversight
