Job description

Title: Sales & Lending Associate

Pay: $18-21/hr


Day‐to‐Day:

Insight Global is seeking a Sales & Lending Associate for one of our clients in the pawn and resale industry. This role is onsite at the client’s Antioch, CA location and supports daily retail sales and collateralized lending operations. This is a fast paced environment with a great long term opportunity to grow in this company.

Day to day:

  • Work directly with walk‐in customers to provide pawn loan and retail sales support
  • Evaluate items for collateralized loans using pricing guides and pawn software
  • Clearly explain loan terms, values, and transaction details to customers
  • Accurately write, renew, and service pawn loans
  • Buy and sell merchandise while ensuring a positive in‐store customer experience
  • Spend a majority of the day in a customer‐facing role on the sales floor
  • Use pawn software to document transactions and determine second‐hand used values
  • Support general store operations from open to close
  • Assist with basic social media or promotional efforts as needed

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 1–2+ years of experience in customer service or sales environments (restaurant, retail, or other fast‐paced service roles preferred)
  • Strong customer‐facing personality with the ability to engage and build rapport with a wide range of customers
  • Comfortable discussing pricing, value, and loan terms with customers
  • Self‐motivated with the ability to stay productive throughout the day
  • Willingness to learn through ad‐hoc training and coaching
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in diverse or high‐pressure customer situations
