Position Summary
The CBS Sales Executive is responsible for driving new business development in a fast-paced, results-oriented sales environment. This role manages the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation through closing new business. The Sales Executive will build and maintain a portfolio of recurring clients while identifying opportunities to expand revenue. Leads related to Janitorial Services and other service lines will be referred to the appropriate Sales Executive.
Essential Functions
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue prospective clients through networking, referrals, cold calling, and field prospecting activities.
  • Generate new business opportunities and develop a recurring client base.
  • Schedule and conduct sales appointments to assess customer needs and present customized service solutions.
  • Build relationships with prospective clients, address objections, negotiate agreements, and close sales.
  • Conduct a minimum of 20 hours of field prospecting and 200 marketing calls per week.
  • Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and service agreements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within the Company's CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to service delivery.
  • Refer Janitorial Services opportunities and other qualified leads to the appropriate Sales Executive.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors, coworkers, and management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of successful B2B sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong prospecting and business development ("hunter") mentality.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Sales training certifications (e.g., Sandler, Dale Carnegie, President's Club recognition, or similar programs) preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar systems.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel locally for client meetings, networking events, and prospecting activities.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and drive for extended periods throughout the workday.
