Inside Sales Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Inside Sales Manager to lead our daily sales operations and drive significant revenue growth. This pivotal role requires a strategic sales leader with 5-10 years of sales management experience, a proven track record of building and developing high-performing sales teams, and expertise in managing customer relationships through CRM systems, preferably Pipe Drive CRM.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, the ability to develop sales processes from the ground up, and established relationships within the EPC, refining, petrochemical, and heavy industrial sectors. This individual will play a key role in expanding our customer base, strengthening market presence, and delivering sustainable sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day inside sales operations to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share and strengthen customer relationships.

  • Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing inside sales team from top to bottom.

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and manage Sales Representatives to ensure team success.

  • Implement and optimize sales processes, workflows, and performance metrics.

  • Utilize and manage CRM systems, preferably Pipe Drive CRM, to track opportunities, customer interactions, forecasting, and pipeline management.

  • Generate and present accurate sales forecasts, revenue projections, and expense reports to senior leadership.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within refining, petrochemical, industrial, and EPC markets.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at major EPC firms and industrial organizations.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure exceptional customer service and project execution.

  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of sales management experience, preferably in industrial, refining, petrochemical, or related markets.

  • Proven success leading inside sales teams and driving revenue growth.

  • Experience building and scaling a sales department and implementing effective sales processes.

  • Strong proficiency with CRM platforms; Pipe Drive CRM experience strongly preferred.

  • Deep understanding of refining, petrochemical, EPC, and heavy industrial operations.

  • Established relationships and contacts within major EPC firms such as Bechtel, Zachry, and similar organizations highly preferred.

  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and project management skills.

  • Strong business acumen and customer-focused mindset.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, solve problems effectively, and collaborate across teams.

  • Proven experience with budgeting, sales planning, forecasting, and execution.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.

  • Experience managing sales teams and developing strategic growth initiatives.

  • Prior experience serving industrial, refining, petrochemical, EPC, or related markets strongly preferred.
