Are you a driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and seeing the direct results of your efforts?
Carpet City Flooring Center is seeking a Sales Development Representative to expand our presence throughout Central Wisconsin by developing relationships with commercial customers, property managers, builders, contractors, and other business partners.
This is an opportunity for a motivated sales professional to build a book of business, represent an established local company, and play a key role in driving growth within our commercial flooring division.
  • Base guaranteed or Commission (paid whichever is higher every pay period) with higher earning potential as you build your pipeline!
  • Base salary: $48,000-$52,000, depending on experience. Typical first-year on-target earnings (OTE): $6o,000-$85,000.
  • Paid training & ongoing mentorship
  • Variety in your day: office, showroom, and customer interaction
  • Relationship-driven sales (not just cold calling)

Responsibilities
As a Business Development Representative, you'll focus on identifying opportunities, developing relationships, and converting prospects into long-term customers.
Responsibilities include:
• Prospect and develop new commercial accounts through networking, referrals, outreach, and relationship building
• Build relationships with contractors, property managers, builders, designers, and business owners
• Follow up with leads and opportunities to generate new projects and recurring business
• Conduct customer visits, jobsite meetings, and project consultations
• Prepare estimates and project proposals using measurements, plans, and blueprints
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience from sale through installation
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Attend industry events, networking functions, and community organizations to build awareness and generate opportunities
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions within company systems
