What is the Sales Development Program (SDP)?
Located in Peachtree Corners, GA, the Sales Development Program (SDP) is a full-time, twelve-month opportunity designed to equip recent graduates with the skills needed for a successful career in technical sales, all within a supportive and collaborative learning environment. Through comprehensive training, participants will develop expertise in technical sales strategies and techniques, while gaining in-depth knowledge of Siemens' products, technologies, and core values. This dynamic and engaging program blends instruction with hands-on learning to lay the foundation for a successful career in technical sales at a global industry leader.
As a participant, your responsibilities may include:
Gaining a deep understanding of Siemens' legacy, organizational structure, product offerings, systems, tools, and internal processes
Collaborating with product management and subject matter experts across various functions
Preparing sales quotations for teams, distributors, and customers
Exploring industry dynamics, including go-to-market strategies and channel partnerships
Learning key sales, skills, processes and tools
Developing networking skills with peers and leadership while applying proven sales methodologies
Engaging in a collaborative, team-based environment alongside fellow trainees
Receiving guidance and support from recently graduated program mentors
The Sales Development Program is a full-time, 12-month integrated development program consisting of two phases.
*** Phase 1 will be based in Peachtree Corners, GA and will focus on foundational sales and systems readiness.
*** Phase 2 will focus on role-aligned applied development which may take place in Peachtree Corners or within another US sales office.
*** Participants are expected to remain in Peachtree Corners for a minimum of 9-months. Upon successful completion, you will be eligible to interview for positions in sales, inside sales and sales support.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
This Program could be a great fit if you:
Have graduated with a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), Construction Management, Business or Marketing
Obtained a Professional Selling Certificate or similar
Membership with your school's Sales Engineering Club or similar
Have the right attitude and a technical aptitude with a keen interest in the electrical industry
Have prior internship experience in sales or technical role
Have prior customer-facing experience in sales, construction, engineering or technical field
Are willing to relocate and travel as required by the program
Are good at building relationships and have strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
Are legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company or school sponsorship. This program does not support students on a Visa such as F1, J1, M1 and H1B as well as OPT/CPT.

The pay range for this position is 68000 - 72000 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
