Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Stockton, CA is looking to hire an experienced Outside Sales & Service Representative to sell work truck bodies, equipment, and accessories; identify potential leads, educate prospects, manage orders, and provide customers with exceptional service and support. This full-time position will work Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with occasional overnight trips as required.

DAY-TO-DAY AS AN OUTSIDE SALES & SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

This position is responsible for commercial truck equipment sales to dealers, end users, and municipalities, as well as acting as a mobile service technician for minor on-site repair and service.

General Responsibilities:

  • Complete scheduled/cold call prospecting activities.
  • Utilize the company's Customer Resource Management System (CRM) on a daily basis, scheduling and documenting activities, and developing prospective customer profiles
  • Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Knapheide's Products, services, and pricing structure
  • Deliver quotes to customers as required
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations
  • Acquire required documentation for new accounts
  • Ability to diagnose and fix minor repairs on Knapheide's product.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook)
