HVAC Service Sales Representative - Commercial & Industrial - New Business Development

Unitemp has over 50 years of experience as the leading commercial and industrial HVAC project and service provider in the New Jersey and New York markets. We provide our clients with heating, air conditioning and ventilation solutions to meet the needs of their facility and people.

The Service Sales Representative will be responsible for setting new commercial and industrial HVAC preventative maintenance qualified sales leads in the assigned territory. Candidates should have demonstrated success in developing and setting new business opportunities and a successful track record in commercial/industrial B2B sales over the phone, through emails, and social media, organizations, etc. The successful candidate must be highly motivated with a passion for relationship building and gaining new business opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate new customer qualified sales leads by identifying and developing new business opportunities through prospecting cold calling, organizational affiliations, referrals, mailers, social media, etc.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Sales Manager and Sales Representatives to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies
  • Identify, assess, and initiate contact with potential customers
  • Conduct high volume prospecting to be defined to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media
  • Schedule opportunity leads/assessments and discovery meetings for Sales Representatives to further assess a prospect's business and potential for partnership with Unitemp, Inc
  • Meet the weekly sales activity goal phone calls, contacts made, qualified leads set, marketing mailers sent out
  • Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned
  • Collaborate with the sales team to qualify and engage target customers
  • Utilize prospecting and research tools including email, phone and social media, lists, etc. and coordinate with assigned reps to qualify opportunities
  • Regularly maintain and enter activity and campaign effectiveness through the CRM system

Qualifications including Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Energetic, goal driven, motivated, and possess drive necessary to develop new business relationships
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, organization, and customer communication
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment
  • Be able to work independently as well as successfully with the sales team
  • Experience with utilizing a CRM
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Base salary starting at $65,000 plus commission, car allowance, EZPass, gas card.

First year OTE $100,000-110,000+
