Job Title: Counterintelligence Agent Instructor (DCAC) Mid Level Job Category: Training Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * The Opportunity: The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Joint Counterintelligence Training Activity (JCITA) program is the crown jewel of the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) enterprise in enabling CI personnel in their mission to protect our nation from adversarial threats. CI Agents' abilities to counter espionage, terrorism, and insider threats hinge upon JCITA's advanced CI training. From its inception, our JCITA Instructor program has grown and evolved well past the original vision. Changes in the CI landscape have necessitated the support of an agile, innovative team, and a solid business partner in CACI, to ensure the program continues to deliver the quantity and quality of training for a successful DoD CI program. Responsibilities: * You are responsible for providing world-class DoD Cl Agent Course (DCAC) instruction . * Plan, develop, and execute training certification for entry level understanding of Defense Agency CI missions and functions Instruction. The training provides the CI Agent with the basic knowledge to conduct the diverse duties of a Defense Agency CI Special Agent and emphasizes DoD CI legal issues; CI functional services; CI education briefings; detection of espionage; Cl inquiries; preserving CI operational and investigative viability and prosecutorial information; collecting and reporting CI information; and assisting other agencies in CI matters to include operations and investigations. * Deliver classroom-based instruction and assess student performance in field exercises that frequently exceed 8-hours a day, includes weekends, and requires travel within the NCR and CONUS. * Employ blended learning techniques to include a combination of eLearning tools, lectures, classroom discussions, team exercises, readings, case studies, role plays and demonstrations of required skills through work-related tasks. Qualifications: * TS/SCI W/ Poly or ability to obtain poly.
* Five (5) years of demonstrated experience conducting CI inquiries and/or full scope investig ation s . * Knowledge of the Cl missions and functions required. * Possess expert knowledge in CI activities in support of the five CI functions: investigations, collection, operations, functional services, and analysis and production which was gained through experience.
* Graduate from an accredited CI Special Agent credentialing school, must be a graduate of JClTA NSlC, ACIIC and/or the AFCITC, or an IC school equivalent. - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
