We are seeking an experienced Sage Intacct Designer to support our team as an independent contractor. This role requires deep expertise in Sage Intacct, including customization, implementation, reporting, and integration capabilities. This position will report to the Executive Director, Client Services. This position can be located remotely in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and customize Sage Intacct to meet business needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing financial and operational workflows.
  • Develop and optimize financial reports, dashboards, and analytics within Sage Intacct, ensuring accuracy and usability for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify pain points, and recommend efficient solutions within the software.
  • Implement best practices in financial management by ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls across Sage Intacct configurations.
  • Support data migration and integration efforts, leveraging SQL, scripting languages, and data integration tools when applicable.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, resolve technical challenges, and provide guidance on enhancing system performance.
  • Document system configurations, workflows, and customizations to maintain clear records of implemented solutions.
  • Train end-users on Sage Intacct functionalities and best practices to enhance system adoption.

Work Environment

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of proven Sage Intacct experience, including implementation and configuration of GL, AP/AR, Cash Management, Multi-Entity, and Reporting.
  • Strong understanding of workflows, automation, and API integrations to optimize system performance.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls, with experience in data migration, system mapping, and financial reporting.
  • Experience managing end-to-end ERP implementations, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to train users and document processes effectively.
  • Sage Intacct Certifications or other relevant accounting certifications are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Sage Intacct modules, customization options, reporting capabilities, and integrations.
  • Knowledge of SQL, scripting languages, or data integration tools is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of financial management processes, including general ledger, AP/AR, cash management, reporting, and budgeting.
