Job description

Full-Time / Direct-Hire | $80,000–$95,000 DOE | Company vehicle, gas card + other perks

We're partnered with a long-standing manufacturing and industrial company looking for an experienced Safety Manager to support safety programs at several plant locations in the Atlanta metro. You'll spend your time locally at plant sites working directly with plant leadership and crews to drive real safety performance.

What You'll Do

  • Support OSHA General Industry (29 CFR 1910) compliance across plant locations, with a focus on Lockout/Tagout, machine guarding, confined space entry, electrical safety/NFPA 70E, working at heights, and hazard communication
  • Conduct regular plant inspections, audits, and equipment checks
  • Develop and deliver safety training tailored to plant crews
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
  • Build relationships with plant managers and frontline supervisors to be the person they call
  • Maintain safety documentation, records, and reporting

Key Experience

  • 2-3+ years managing a safety program in a manufacturing, plant, or fixed-facility industrial environment
  • Deep knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards (29 CFR 1910)
  • Comfortable in a plant environment, you know what a JSA is, how to make sure it actually gets used, and you're not new to LOTO or machine guarding requirements
  • Strong communicator who can work across all levels, from plant operators to leadership
