Job description

A leading commercial mechanical contractor is seeking a Project Safety Coordinator to support the project safety team. In this role, you will help implement and oversee safety accountability programs, manage accident and fire prevention initiatives, and ensure full compliance with company, client, and state and federal safety regulations across all projects.
- Conduct daily site inspections, equipment checks, and pre-task planning to ensure crew safety.
- Support and execute safety programs, training, and compliance initiatives.
- Respond to incidents, complete reports, and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with field teams and clients to maintain safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Must have at least 3 years of field safety experience on construction sites
- Must have OSHA 510 certification
- Must have a basic understanding of construction OSHA
