OVERVIEW:

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drives sales through community involvement by attending local market races as a representative of Dick's Sporting Goods to promote the Company as a destination shop for running enthusiasts.

  • Provides technical support based on in-depth product knowledge to other associates and customers on all footwear merchandise with a focus on merchandise geared towards runners.

  • Supports Company standards of selling and customer service by providing a friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every customer and maintaining solid product knowledge.

  • Maintains merchandise presentation standards and signage of Footwear Department to Company standards as directed.

  • Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures. Maintains confidentiality of all Company information.

  • Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customer) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.

  • Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred
