Job description

14652 - Oracle Developer (Onsite) - Tallahassee, FL
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
  • Experience with Oracle WebForm (5+ years);
  • Experience with Toad or SQL+ programming (5+ years);
  • Experience with object-oriented development techniques;
  • Experience with RTS application components (3+ years);
  • Experience working in a multi-development group environment.

Preferred:
  • Experience with Oracle 11g Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Maintain and enhance the existing Registration Tracking System (RTS) database, including bug fixes and feature enhancements;
  • Enhance the interface between RTS and the OnBase document management system via WebService integration;
  • Create test plans using the Test Case Template and coordinate feature testing with division staff;
  • Document requirements, design, modifications, and deployment or implementation plans prior to each development phase;
  • Submit weekly status reports detailing modifications made and a monthly work log accounting for hours worked;
  • Ensure all code modifications include inline documentation with developer name, date, and explanation of the change;
  • Coordinate and adhere to all Client rules, regulations, standards, and guidelines for application development.
