AS400/RPG Programmer Analyst

We are seeking a motivated Information Technology professional to join our fast-paced organization. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in technology, a solid understanding of our business goals, and a willingness to contribute to our success. Experience in retail industry technology, logistics, distribution systems, and marketing is preferred. The ability to analyze business processes, propose enhancements, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences is essential.

Job Requirements

Technical Skills:

  • Working familiarity with the IBM AS400 platform is required.
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements, proposing enhancements, and providing technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including RPG3, RPG-IV, RPG-ILE, RPG-Free, and CL.
  • Ability to design programming modifications considering database, screens, and reports.
  • Capability to develop and support programs, with a willingness to learn new programming skills.
  • Understanding of quality assurance principles and ability to create and execute formal test plans.
