Job description

Job Summary:
CosmoProf Beauty is seeking an RPA Developer to design, deploy, and maintain robotic process automation solutions. The role involves collaborating with various teams to gather requirements, developing automation processes, and maintaining legacy Access databases while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Robotic process automation development, including interaction with subject matter experts for gathering requirements, preparing current state documentation, solution design, debugging, user acceptance testing and implementation into production environment. Prepares detailed specifications, develops processes, generic reusable components, visual basic objects based on the business needs. Timely delivery of automation projects assigned, using best practices. Provides periodic status on progress of development. Responsible for monitoring the health of robots in production. Heavy interaction with business teams across the organization.
• Maintains legacy Access databases for user community with data housed in Oracle, iSeries and external sources. Troubleshoots and resolves user errors. May utilize Access to manage large data sets as needed for business team use.
• Manage, identify, and ensure all financial risks are mitigated and compliant with SOX requirements. Additionally, ensure process narrative documentation is current and accurately describes the process.
• Other special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of prior software development experience required.
• Experience automating mainframe and web applications
• Experience writing SQL queries and connecting to SQL databases, Oracle queries and configuring ODBCs
• Advanced Microsoft Access and Excel experience
• Detail oriented, customer focused.
• Ability to take initiative, multi-task and work independently.
• Ability to see the big picture.
• Aptitude for problem solving.
• Strong desire for exploring, evaluating and understanding new technologies.
• Ability to understand and communicate the concepts of the RPA solution.
• Ability to resolve technical issues associated with RPA robots.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
Preferred:
• Experience in Blue Prism or UiPath RPA development preferred.
• Experience in RPA solution design with demonstrated understanding of business processes and building process flow diagrams (Visio, IBM Blueworks, etc) preferred.
• Experience monitoring RPA automations in production preferred.
• Experience with Lean/Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with Finance, Accounting modules within an ERP.
