Kitchen Crew Job Summary

Your job as Kitchen Crew is an all-hands type of role. You'll rove the dining room and kitchen, ensuring any area that needs assistance is helped. Working closely with our Culinary Director, you'll help make sure dishes are made, served, and cleaned up.

Responsibilities:

  • Prep food as needed per the Culinary Director.
  • Talk to residents in a friendly way, share the daily menu, and make sure they're happy.
  • Serve dishes to our residents in a kind manner.
  • Assist in cleaning pots, pans, and keeping the kitchen area clean and orderly.
  • Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and follow rules to keep the food safe.
  • After each meal, set up the Dining Room again and take pride in how it looks.

Qualifications:

  • It's cool if you've never worked in a restaurant or with customers before, but we'll teach you if you're excited to learn.
  • Be open to changing roles on the fly.
  • Stay positive, especially when it's busy, to keep things happy.
  • Be patient and understanding when customers have requests or concerns.
  • Notice when things need to be clean, helping keep the dining area tidy and safe.
