Job Duties:
This position reports to the TDCJ Beef Processing Plant on a daily basis. Overseeing the set up and tear down of beef processing equipment. Diagnose and oversee repair for all production equipment. Trains and oversees a crew of inmate workers. Researches parts, retains quotes, and creates requisitions for needed parts and equipment. Assist in maintaining safety and security of staff and inmates.
You'd be a GOOD fit if:
You have graduated from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED and two years full time, wageearning maintenance or construction experience.
You have food processing equipment maintenance and repair experience.
You'd be a GREAT fit if:
You have sixty semester hours from a college or university accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department of Education (USDE) with six semester hours in a maintenancerelated field or graduation from a technical
Or vocational school accredited by an organization recognized by CHEA or USDE with a certificate in the field of industrial plant operations or maintenance
Or completion of a U.S. Military technical training school in a maintenancerelated field.
