Job description

Adecco Staffing is currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician with prior facilities maintenance experience and the ability to perform a wide range of building and equipment maintenance tasks in a controlled production environment.
Type:
Temp (5 months)
Start Date: 6/1/2026
Pay Rate: $33.82 – $39.58/hour
Location: Quincy, MA
Work Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (post-probation)
On-Call Rotation: 3-week rotation (includes $20/day stipend)


Responsibilities

  • Perform general facilities maintenance and repairs across the site

  • Support upkeep of production-adjacent areas, offices, and common spaces

  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic building system issues

  • Assist with equipment moves, space reconfiguration, and general setup tasks

  • Coordinate with vendors for repairs, maintenance, and supplies

  • Conduct routine facility inspections and address issues promptly

  • Maintain facility supplies and support inventory control

  • Respond to internal maintenance and service requests

  • Ensure proper operation of HVAC, lighting, and basic building systems

  • Support safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards in a regulated environment


Qualifications

  • Required: prior facilities maintenance experience

  • Strong general handyman / multi-skilled maintenance background preferred

  • Experience in manufacturing, pharma, biotech, or regulated environments a plus

  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs

  • Experience with facility management systems (ServiceZone or similar) a plus

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred

  • Ability to perform physical work (lifting, standing, bending)

  • Strong understanding of safety procedures in controlled environments


Pay Details: $33.82 to $39.58 per hour
