Job description

Title: HSE Coordinator Job ID# 111180
Location: Midland, Texas
Department: Operations
Provide stewardship/technical advice in the ongoing management of the Corporate Safety & Health Safety Mgmt System. Working closely w/ Business unit.
Essential Duties
  • Assist in the development and execution of Corporate HSE strategic plans.
  • Liaison with external consultants, customers and regulatory bodies on behalf of Corporate HSE Department.
  • Promote compliance with safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal rules and regulations as they apply to the organizations operations.
  • Maintain employee training programs, i.e. regulatory guidelines, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment, including authorized level training (OSHA, EPA, DOT)
  • Have clear understanding of policies and procedures with the ability to implement
  • Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance and mentoring to managers and employees on safety initiatives and necessary changes.
  • Perform safety audits, surveys and inspections
  • Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks raise safety awareness and improve safe work practices.
  • Ensure compliance with timely reporting to the district management team
  • Other duties may be assigned

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification, secondary and/or post graduate education an asset
  • Proven written and verbal skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • 2 to 5 years' experience in an HSE role

Additional Requirements
  • Certified in PEC Safeland and PEC Clear
  • OSHA 511 Certification or ability to obtain
  • Oil & Gas Experience - Well Site/Water Transfer or Flow Back Knowledge
  • Working knowledge of ISNET, KPA, NCMS, Empower App, Teams and DISA
  • Bi-lingual a plus
  • Ability to manage and oversee small to medium scale projects on behalf of the corporation.
  • Able to stand; walk; use hands, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Ability to lift/move up to 35-50 pounds occasionally
  • Willing to work rotating shifts including but not limited to days, nights, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Willing to travel
