Job description

The HSE Wireline Specialist position, located in Midland, TX, supports all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance, sustaining safety strategies by identifying and analyzing occupational hazards and applying professional HSE safety knowledge, skills, and abilities.

HSE requires 7-10 years of Wireline experience in the Oil & Gas industry. A Bachelor's Degree in HSE is preferred. Consideration may be given to an Associate's HSE Degree with CSP Certification from an accredited institution.

  • Communicate HSE regulations as applied to the Wireline Oil & Gas Industry.
  • HSE Wireline Explosive, Radiation, and Hazmat experience in the Oil & Gas industry required.
  • Extensive knowledge in ATF, ISO, NCMS, INS Net World, and OSHA.
  • Maintain OSHA, Explosive, Radiation, PPE, DOT/Non-DOT, and Environmental inspections and logs.
  • Leadership management required to meet OSHA, DOT, and Non-DOT compliance.
  • Evaluate Occupational Safety policies and guidelines, recommending modifications.
  • Administer risk management techniques.
  • Develop safety policies and guidelines for loss prevention and risk control.
  • Conduct safety meetings; OSHA and HSE compliance training.
  • 10/4 rotating work schedule, 24-hour on-call, nights/weekends may be required.
  • Manage Wireline field safety operations.
  • Provide guidance and regulatory interpretations with development programs, recommending improvements in the process, design, procedures, and operating equipment to minimize hazardous potentials.
  • Conduct incident investigations to find corrective actions for Near Misses and Root Causes.
  • Conduct field reviews supporting safety performance as an essential part of the day-to-day operations.
  • Overnight travel may be required.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HSE Databases.
  • English required (Bilingual a plus).

Pre-Employment MVR, D&A, Background, and ATF Clearance Required. Relocation May Be Provided.
