ROTA NANNY- 1 week on 1 week off

A private family with 5 children living inWashington, DCis looking to hire a Professional ROTA Nanny. The most important qualities the nanny MUST have consistent ENERGY , ENGAGEMENT all the time, POSITIVITY all the time, approaching children with gentle parenting vs directives.

Ideal Candidate:

The family is looking for an experienced, mature, flexible, outgoing, calm, engaging nanny to join their team. This nanny has worked as a ROTA previously (at least for 1 year) and understands the nature of what the position entails. Must be ENERGETIC!

What Works Best for the Family:

Someone who understands that the day to day activities with 5 children is constantly changing. This person is able to recognize needs and then have a solution. It is important for this individual to have good critical thinking skills and be able to make decisions. The children's safety is the number 1 priority and they are all at different developmental stages. The nanny must have experience being able to provide different practices for each child. . Having a valid passport and knowing how to swim is required.

Position Details:

Responsibilities:
  • Care for children ages- 18mnts, 4yrs, 7yrs, 9yrs, 11 yrs
  • Engage in play and learning activities
  • Travel with the family
  • Maintain daily routines
  • Drive as needed
Requirements:
  • Fluent in English- another language would be a plus
  • ROTA exp preferred as well as working long shifts for a long period of time
  • Minimum of two references
  • Background check required upon contingent offer
